It seems that every time an Android-based dongle (mini-computer) is released or announced, the price drops lower. And that is a good thing. Very good actually.
You probably already read about the HDMI Dongle and the ANDHDM2s. The latest to be announced is the iPPea TV, an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) based dongle from iPPea Inc., a technology outfit based in San Clemente, CA USA.
iPPea TV is powered by a MIPS XBurst processor gunning at 1.2 Ghz with support for 3D graphics acceleration (Open GL ES 1.1 and 1.2). It also comes with 512 MB of DDR2 RAM and 2 GB of NandFlash storage expandable to 32 GB via a microSD slot. Throw in support for wireless 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI output (up to 1080P), USB OTG and USB Host, and you have yourself a powerful mini-computer that you can take anywhere.
