    You can use ms-sys (http://ms-sys.sourceforge.net/, guide to use: http://www.thecoderanger.com/rewrite-a-windows-hard-disk-mbr-with-an-ubuntu-9-04-live-cd/)

    Just note that there you must write the correct version of the MBR as your OS. The appropriate parameters can be seen in the ms-sys download page. I’ve used it before to restore my MBR, and it worked fine :)

    This is assuming that you dual-booted Win 7 and a Linux distribution, with GRUB installed in the MBR.

    The easiest way I know to restore Win 7 boot files in the MBR, is to use Neosmart’s EasyBCD, a free application.
