Knoppix password required to add programs

Knoppix password required to add programs: I tried to load Firefox and knoppix asked for login and password to continue. I have not entered a login and password. I there a default login and password for version 6.7.1?

    Knoppix does not have a default password. Which means most activities that would normally require a password can be performed without authentication.

    If there is an activity that is requesting a password, you can set the root password from the menu:

    Menu -> Preferences -> Set password for root.
