Hello. I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 on a new USB 2.0 external hard drive following the instructions provided by http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2011/05/23/install-ubuntu-11-04-on-external-hard-disk/
When I restart my laptop, Windows XP boots. When I look in My Computer, the external hard drive isn’t shown. It’s as if I had done nonthing and had no external hard drive. Can you offer any guidance as to how to boot Ubuntu from my external hard drive?
