i have two ssd, one is with win7 and one has 2 linux distros, at the moment linux mint and new #! (encrypted). later i plan to switch to pc-bsd. every ssd has its own bootloader (win7 (ssd1), grub2 (ssd2)).

to make the win7 hd more secure, i`m working with jondo and jondofox and thunderbird enigma and regular updates, would you recommend to encrypt the whole ssd with truecrypt or do you have any alternatives? are there more ways to get a more secure windows?

Jondo and related programs are network security applications, while truecrypt is mostly a physical security tool.

One compliments the other to create a near-complete security layer for your system.

If you can encrypt the whole disk, it never hurts. There is no real downside to it, and truecrypt is about as good as any userland encryption program available.
