secure email provider

does anyone recommend an secure email provider, independent of any linux, win7 or macox? thunderbird and enigma can`t be used for people without openpgp. i am thinking of hushmail or 4securemail or something else? any ideas?

    I am searching for an email provider, not a client., but thanks for the info.

    Sylpheed is an email client like Thunderbird, not a provider.

    Hushmail (http://www.hushmail.com) is an openPGP-provider, that is private and probably secure. Emails will be encrypted online and there is a spam/virus scan. But is it really secure or are there better alternatives?

    I am not familiar with any third party provider, but have you tried Sylpheed?

    It should be in the repo of any distribution.
