Uninstall Ubuntu from Dual Boot with Windows 7?

Dual-booting

Based on the comments and the quality of this tutorial: http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2011/05/22/how-to-dual-boot-windows-7-and-ubuntu-11-04/comment-page-2/#comment-8811, this seems like the best way I’ve found to set up a dual boot. I’m reluctant to try it though without knowing how to uninstall Ubuntu. If someone could show me how this is done, or point me to another tutorial, I’d be extremely grateful.

I have yet to install Ubuntu, but at the moment I have Windows 7 64bit installed on a 465gb hard drive.  Once again, if someone could reassure me that it’s possible to uninstall, and maybe tell me how.

One person put above to simply delete the partition, and Ubuntu is uninstalled. DO NOT DO THAT. DOING SO WILL MAKE YOUR COMPUTER UN-BOOTABLE, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO MANUALLY FIGURE OUT HOW TO UNINSTALL GRUB FROM THE COMMAND LINE!!!
I am not sure as to how to uninstall Ubuntu when installed alongside Windows, but when installed in Windows (WUBI), you can simply run WUBI again, and it will prompt you to uninstall the current Ubuntu that is installed. Click Yes, and uninstallation will occur. Then, when restarting, Ubuntu will no longer be an option.

Not sure the question is very clear on what you want to do, but If you are yet to install Ubuntu, but plan on doing so on a computer with an existing installation of Windows, and want to know if Ubuntu can be uninstalled in the future, the answer is, of course, yes.

And it is very simple. If you install Ubuntu on the hard drive and you change your mind about it, to delete it, log into Windows and delete or reformat the Ubuntu partitions.
