Open Source Software World Challenge

The 2011 edition of the Open Source Software World Challenge, an annual contest hosted by Ministry of Knowledge and Economy of Korea, will be sponsored by bada, the mobile platform division of Samsung. Any coder 12 years or older from any part of the globe, is eligible to enter the contest.

The contest’s objective is “to promote open source software and expand various exchanges among open source software developers all over the world.”

The competition began June 8 and will end on November 1, 2011. Projects are being accepted until July 17, 2011. More information is available on the contest’s website and at bada’s website.
