New Kontact Suite for desktop and mobile

The KDE project has announced a new Kontact Suite for desktop computers and mobile devices. Kontact Suite is a set of Personal Information Management (PIM) applications for KDE, and is built on the Akonadi framework.

From the news release:

The new Kontact Suite 4.6 is a major milestone for KDE software to provide outstanding features for a wide variety of devices, from traditional desktops to the latest mobile platforms. Using the capabilities of the new scalable Akonadi groupware framework to build interconnected PIM-related applications, the new Kontact Suite is available in versions for desktop systems as well as touchscreen devices, such as tablets and smartphones.
