Is it necessary to have two Swap partitions when dual-booting two distributions?

Disk Partition

I am dual-booting two Linux distributions and I have a separate Swap space configured for each. I have been thinking about it lately, and I’m  not so sure that I needed to have two Swap partitions on the computer.

So, the question is, can I share one Swap partition between the distos?

Thanks.

From my little experience, it is not. Once you configure Swap on the first distro, the second distro’s installer will detect and use it if you do not configure a separate Swap for the second distro.
