What is the best blogging platform built atop Node.js?

Node.JS JavaScript real-time asynchronous

After about six years of using WordPress as the blogging  platform for this website, I have come to the stage where I want to try something else. Something based on more modern Web technologies.

WordPress has been great. For non-techies, it’s about as simple as it can get. I’ve never used the hosted service, but the self-hosted installation which powers the website made starting and maintaining this blog real simple. The plugin system is really nice, but it’s also one of the weaknesses of the platform. You could be using a plugin for a long time and later find out that its author has moved on to better things.

So, I’m now looking for something else. To start, I’m considering blogging platforms built atop Node.js.  There are lots of projects hosted on GitHub, but most have not been updated in a long time. They were used by their authors to learn about Node.js and nothing more. Even Calipso, which received some coverage a while back seems to have been abandoned.

So, help me out here. Know of any complete blogging application that can replace WordPress? Drop a comment. Note that when I say “complete,” I mean fully-featured, not something designed solely for developers. I don’t want to write a script just to do basic stuff and I’m certainly not looking for a simple application that’s only designed to generate static pages.

Any ideas?
