Firefox OS on the APC Rock and Paper

Firefox OS, Mozilla APC Rock and Paper

VIA Technologies, Inc. has announced the availability of a preview release of Mozilla’s Firefox OS that will run on the APC Rock and Paper, two small form-factor computers powered by ARM processors.

Current versions of the Rock and Paper run the Android operating system and retail for US$79 and US$99 apiece. Both share just about the same specs, other than the fact that the APC Paper does not have a VGA port and ships in a book-like case.

To draw developers to the platform, VIA is offering free units of the Rock and Paper to “developers that fix a known issue.” A Github page has been set up for the platform. You may read all about it here.

I love the rock and paper version, it’s worth the $99. The android platform is awesome as well.
