I wanted to thank you for this. I have not used PC-BSD for some time probably version 7 or some thing like this. I liked desktopbsd better as I liked the way they handled installing programs. I got away from these as I did not like waiting for updates of programs. At the moment I am running Arch Linux but thinking about installing version 9 to try it out and see what it is like. I like that you can install more then just KDE and I might try out enlightenment but have a feeling it is an old version but willing to try it out.
Just a quibble with the layout: the ads get in the way of the text and make it hard to read. I missed a coupl’a words then had to backtrack to find them. For instance, the very first sentence of the article is interrupted by the Ads by Google.
Running Windows Vista Starter, only so I can try out RockMelt.
