Qt Software has announced the release of a Technology Preview of Qt® Creator™, a “new, lightweight, cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE) designed to make development with the Qt application framework even faster and easier”.
Ubuntu 8.10, the latest in the line of the popular Linux operating system is now available for download from Ubuntu repositories and download mirrors worldwide. Both the desktop and server editions were rolled out today.
Aside from one small, but very important difference, configuring Linux Logical Volume Manager (LVM) in Fedora 9 is just about the same as configuring it in Foresight Linux, CentOS, and StartCom. All four distros use the Anaconda installer.
