Alitheia Core 0.8.1 Released

The Software Quality Observatory for Open Source Software (SQO-OSS), the European Commission-funded consortium, has announced the release of Alitheia Core 0.8.1. Alitheia Core is an automated platform for quality assessment of open source software projects.

Alitheia Core 0.8.1 is alpha software, and released under the 2-clause BSD license, the same license recently applied to all NetBSD source codes. Alitheia Core has the following features:

  • System administration allowing the installation of new project data
  • Metrics: lines of code count, lines of comments count and a cross-language metrics tool
  • A web-based user interface for the display of calculation results

A demo of Alitheia is available here, and you may – using SVN – checkout the code from the project’s SVN server, or download pre-compiled tar-balls from here.
