openSUSE 11, the latest stable version of the Linux distro sponsored by Novell, has been released, and now available for download. openSUSE 11 comes with lots of new features and bug fixes, and offers an exciting array of desktop enhancements for all user levels.
Some of the new features and updates that comes with openSUSE 11 are:
- Choice of KDE4, KDE3.5, Gnome2.22, and Xfce desktops
- Compiz Fusion 3-D desktop and lots of Compiz plugins
- Firefox 3.0
- Banshee 1.0
- OpenOffice.org 2.4
- Network Manager 0.7
- Linux Kernel 2.6.25, with glibc 2.8, and GCC 4.3
